PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle having a simple and inexpensive circuit configuration capable of performing auxiliary heating operation using hot gas in a refrigerating cycle in addition to a main heating device. SOLUTION: A refrigerant system is provided with a four-way valve 5 having connecting ports 5a-5d connected to a discharge side of a refrigerating compressor 1, a refrigerant inlet of a condenser 2, a refrigerant outlet of the condenser 2, and a refrigerant inlet of an evaporator 3, and a cooling operation mode for introducing a refrigerant from the refrigerating compressor 1 to the condenser 2 and an auxiliary heating operation mode for introducing a refrigerant from the refrigerant compressor 1 to the evaporator 3 are switched by the four-way valve 5. A first expansion valve 6 is installed between the refrigerant outlet of the condenser 2 and the four-way valve 5, and further a second expansion valve 7 is installed between the four-way valve 5 and the refrigerant inlet of the evaporator 3. |
