PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid aggregate having a combination of rubbery elasticity of various core material as well as the shapes, physical properties, chemical properties and functionalties of various minute aggregates. SOLUTION: The surface of a rubber powder 2 (rubber particles) composed of a rubber blend having elasticity is surface-treated with a surface-treating agent 3 such as a solvent, a solution of a liquid rubber, a halogen-containing compound, an inorganic acid or an organic acid. Then, the surface of the rubber powder 2 thus surface-treated is coated with a resin adhesive 4 obtained by blending a thermosetting resin, a thermoplastic resin or a mixture thereof, and a diluent such as a solvent, if necessary. This rubber powder 2 thus coated with the resin adhesive 4 is added bit by bit to a minute aggregate 6 having rigidity or elasticity such as an aluminum powder that is surface-treated with a surface-treating agent 5 such as a silane coupling agent solution, so as to attach the aggregate 6 to the surface of the rubber powder 2. The hybrid aggregate is accordingly prepared. |
