PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a repellent for a gastropod, capable of being used by a simple application method, capable of saving labor, hardly requiring the recovery of a base material, and having a long-lasting effect. SOLUTION: This repellent for the gastropod contains a zeolite (having the general formula: M2/nO.Al2O3.xSiO2.yH2O) carrying a copper ion obtained by an ion-exchanging treatment as an active ingredient. As a result, though the repellent effects and the sustainability are different according to the kind of examples of formulation, targeting plants and methods for scattering or installation, the repellent effects can be sustained for about 1 day to 2 weeks.
