PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter with a stick article capable of remarkably reducing a cost and shortening a lead time and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the printed matter comprises the steps of coating a surface of the printed matter S fed from a first feeder 1 with an adhesive paste while sequentially conveying the printed matter S, sequentially conveying a sheet-like stick article H fed from a second feeder 15, combining the printed matter S with the paste with the stick article H so as to superpose the article H on the printed matter S to provide a state in which the articles H are respectively adhered to the sequentially conveyed printed matters S, and printing variable information on surfaces of the articles H by an ink jet at any time point of this series of adhering steps. In this case, a work of another step is set in-line, the cost can be remarkably reduced, and the lead time can be shortened.
