<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an ultrasonic probe of higher efficiency and quality. SOLUTION: The probe has a high molecular material 6 with a conductor material 7 between a piezoelectric element 1 and a sound-coordinating layer 8 and the high molecular material and the sound-coordinating layer have almost the same acoustic impedance. Owing to this structure, the probe is both slim and easy to handle without worsening the sensitivity and the special quality of frequency. Even if the piezoelectric element is broken by a mechanical shock, high quality ultrasonic probe can be realized with reduced noise, because it has no electrical disconnection.</p> |
