摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring for adjustment capable of adjusting deflection precision of a tool without lowering natural performance of a tool holder and adjusting rotational balance of the tool holder at a front end part, and also provide an adjustment method. SOLUTION: A plurality of female screws 41 are formed in the radial direction, plural female screws 43 are formed in the axial direction, and male screws 42, 44 are respectively screwed in each of the female screws 41, 43 on a ring 40 for adjustment. Deflection precision is adjusted by making the male screw 44 pressure contact with a front end of a tool holder in a state where a tool fixing the ring 40 on a shank part is held on the tool holder, and rotational balance is adjusted by varying a screwing position of the male screw 42. The rotational balance can be also adjusted by cutting or grinding the ring 40 itself.
