PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting system pipe receiving base by which a long- sized pipe is individually and precisely cut by mainly using this pipe receiving base on a pipe automatic gas cutting machine, and a remarkable change in the diameter of the pipe is allowed. SOLUTION: At the top end parts of two sets of pairing both-arms levers 3, 4 making them cross each other on a base flame 1, which are arranged through a common spindle 2, pipe receiving rollers 5, 6 are pivotally supported outward to these both-arms levers 3, 4. On the bottom end parts of these both- arms levers 3, 4, moving pieces 10, 11 equipping with bearings 8, 9 rolling on a guide surface 7 formed on the base flame 1, are mounted. These moving pieces 10, 11 are screwed onto a screw rod 12 whose screw directions have been formed in reverse directions from both tip parts toward the center. By manually or automatically rotating this screw rod 12, the both-arms levers 3, 4 are closed and opened.
