PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device for a bathtub, etc., which allows easy removal of dirt sticking to the draft line segment of the water surface of the bathtub and does not require a separate cleaning device for cleaning of bath water. SOLUTION: This cleaning device has a circulating means for feeding particulates 9 of a specific gravity smaller than 1 into a water tank and circulating a mixing liquid of water and the grains, and a recovering means for recovering the particulates 9 in the water tank. Accordingly, when the particulates 9 circulated simultaneously with the water collide against bath walls, the particulates scrape off the dirt sticking to the bath walls, thereby cleaning the bathtub. In addition, the particulates 9 released into the bathtub may be arbitrarily or automatically recovered and the particulates 9 may be returned to the bathtub when needed.
