PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a water reservoir part unnecessary and make it possible to repeat a fire work fountain by air pressure and a barlike fountain by pump pressure, and further, shorten a repetitive cycle time of the fire work fountain and the barlike fountain as make continuous time for the barlike fountain adjustable by pump pressure. SOLUTION: A three-way switch valve 9 and a reserve tank 10 are installed in series in a vent pipe 5 between a compressor 5 and a fountain nozzle 2, and a check valve 14 for allowing flow of fountain water W which heads toward the fountain nozzle 2 from the pump 11 side, is provided in a water passage pipe 12 between a pressure feed pump 11 and the fountain nozzle 2. The relationship between an air pressure and the water pressure of the fountain water W is set to be 'the air pressure > the water pressure of the fountain water W'. Then the barlike fountain of a small ejection height H is formed by closing the switch valve 9 to eject the fountain water W from the fountain nozzle 2 and the fire wore fountain of a larger ejection height H1 than the barlike fountain is formed from the fountain nozzle 2 by opening the switch valve 9.
