PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of items to be prepared to prevent such conventional trouble that the number of items such as supports, binding materials, pincers or scissors to be prepared is too large to solve the annoyingness and, at the same time, to save to the time for tying the binding materials to the supports to save resources and expenses by suppressing the occurrence of surpluses of the binding materials and to prevent stocked binding materials from slipping off from supports when the stocked binding materials are tied on the supports. SOLUTION: A binding material 2 is placed beforehand on a horticultural support 1 formed by covering the whole body of a metallic support with a synthetic resin. The horticultural support is stuck into the ground by the side of the place where a plant is set, and the trunk or branch of the plant is bound and supported on the support on each position, where the binding material is placed, by the binding material tied on the support before hand as it is without untying. When the stocked binding material is used, a support having a hole through which the stocked binding material is passed before hand, is stuck into the ground by the side of the plant, and the trunk or a branch is bound by the binding material to support it. Due to this, the binding material can be used without having troubles of slipping off from the support.
