PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly hold a tip by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This cutting tool is equipped with a narrow lower jaw part 2a projecting from the front end of a pillar-shaped holder to place a throw-away tip 5 thereon, and a plate-like pressing fitting 6 mounted in a recessed part P formed in a position near the rear side of the jaw part 2a and having an upper jaw part 6a on its front end for holding the tip 5 in cooperation with the jaw part 2a. The fitting 6 has a first fixed part 61 fixed to the recessed part P independently of the tip 5 and a second fixed part 62 fixed to the recessed part P in association with the tip 5. A slit part 6b is provided between the first and second fixed parts 61, 62. |
