PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a register error in an output print in a digital printing apparatus in which a printing plate wound onto a plate cylinder is exposed directly to form an image. SOLUTION: The printing plate which can form a printing area for two colors is set on the plate cylinder, and a color image is printed by printing the printing area repeatedly on one printing sheet. The finished print is inspected to measure the quantity of register dislocation. In comparison with the quantity of register dislocation, an image in relation to the plate on the plate cylinder is formed. |
