PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording material, which is highly sensitive and fogging in which is very low and has a favorable storage stability, by a method wherein a coloring reaction by acid is utilized. SOLUTION: As the image recording material, a nonsilver image recording material including a compound represented by general formula I, wherein Z1 and Z2 respectively form 5- or 6-membered nitrogenous heterocycle, R1 and R2 respectively represent alkyl groups, alkenyl groups or aralkyl groups, R3 and R5 respectively represent hydrogen atoms or the like, R4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, -N(R6)R7, -SR8 or -OR9, R6 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group, R7 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, a sulfonyl group or an acyl group and R8 and R9 respectively represent alkyl groups, aryl groups or the like, is employed. |
