PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a halogen-free olefinic resin composition capable of satisfying characteristics required for covering materials for automotive electric wires such as abrasion resistance, flame retardance, tensile characteristics and flexibility in a well-balanced state. SOLUTION: This resin composition comprises (a) 30-80 pts. wt. of a polyolefin thermoplastic elastomer, (b) 1-20 pts.wt. of a polyolefin modified with 0.1-10 wt.% of an acid anhydride, (c) 5-50 pts.wt. of a styrene-diene copolymer elastomer having epoxy groups and (d) 0-30 pts.wt. of a propylene polymer [with the proviso that the sum total of the polymers (a), (b), (c) and (d) is 100 pts.wt.] and (e) 30-200 pts.wt. of a metal hydroxide. |
