PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball shooting game machine which can stimulate a player's interest in a game by informing the player of whether or not a variable member of a start winning port can be changed over to a state wherein a game ball can be received easily. SOLUTION: A variable member (ordinary electrical scoring mechanism 11), which can be changed over into a state wherein a game ball can be easily received or a state wherein a game ball cannot be easily received, is provided at a start winning port 12 for starting a suspended display mode of special pattern in a special pattern display device 5. The state of the variable member is determined based on the suspended mode of a pattern on an ordinary pattern display device 6 which can variably display an ordinary pattern of a plurality of display modes. A suspended display mode of a pattern in the device 6 is determined based on a lottery wherein a random number is used in an ordinary pattern determining means. An informing means (e.g. electrical scoring mechanism LED 16) is provided to inform the determination contents in the ordinary pattern determining means. |
