摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planographic printing method including a cleaning stage for effectively removing the ink receiving region of a printing master to enable the reuse of a substrate in a next printing cycle and using a cleaning liquid exerting no effect on the hardware of a printing press and a cleaning device. SOLUTION: A direct-to-plate method of planographic printing enabling the recycling of the planographic substrate of the printing master is disclosed. This method includes a stage (a) for manufacturing a negative acting image forming material by coating a hydrophilic substrate with a coating solution containing hydrophobic thermoplastic polymer particles and a hydrophilic binder, a stage (b) for manufacturing the printing master having the ink receiving region by imagewise exposing the image forming material, a stage (c) for adapting ink and a damping liquid to the printing master and a stage (d) for removing the ink receiving region from the printing master by supplying amide, preferably, alkanolamine. These stages are preferably performed on-press.
