PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hands-joining type guide device for a chopper folder capable of adjusting a clearance between a guide plate for preventing the damge of the hand-joining shape of a section and a chopper table to the minimum necessary in chopping and folding a section, regardless of a thickness of a section conveying belt and a position of the conveying belt in the chopper folder. SOLUTION: This device is composed of innermost section conveying belts 13a, 13b mounted at both sides of a suction port of the chopper table 12 of the chopper folder and traveling along the side of both sides of the suction port; guide plates 73a, 73b mounted partially overlapping on upper faces of the conveying belts 13a, 13b and respectively having thicknesses of two stages by thinning the overlap part; a means for supporting the guide plates 73a, 73b on the chopper table 12; and a means for vertically moving the guide plates 73a, 73b. |
