PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording material excellent in the coloring speed of a recorded image, the storage stability of record, the retention of sensitizing effects or the like. SOLUTION: The coloring layer of this heat sensitive recording material includes a cyclic imide compound represented by general formula 1, wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a halogen atom, as a sensitizer together with an electron donable leuco dye and an acid develolper. |
