PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug for a drain hole which is easy to assemble, does not cause water leak even by its long-term usage and the bracket of which is not projected to connect a ball chain to a plug body. SOLUTION: The plug A for a drain hole comprises a core body 2 with a concave portion 21a formed on the plug body 1, a rubber cover body 5 and a fixing piece 4. The top 51 of the rubber cover body 5 is provided with a penetration hole 51a and the top 51 is provided with a surrounding wall 52 which is provided with an engagement piece 521. A ball 31a of the ball chain 3 is fit into the concave portion 21a of the core body 2, while the cover body 5 is put over the core body 2 to fix the fixing piece 4 which engages the ball 31a. At the same time the engagement piece 521 of the cover body 5 is engaged with the periphery on the lower end of the core body 2 and the ball chain 3 is extended from the cover body 5, and therefore the core body 2 can be integrated with the cover body 5 simply by engaging the engagement piece 521 of the cover body 5 with the core body 2 and thereby the productivity of the plug for a drain hole can be improved.
