PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape for a sliding fastener of a warp knitted texture wherein flexibility and an attaching strength are ensured without losing the original flexibility of a knitted fabric, and at the same time, elements can be uniformly attached. SOLUTION: For this tape for a sliding fastener, an element attaching section (EA) is integrally warp-knitted by double row needles along one side edge of a tape main body section (TB) knitted with a warp knitted texture by one row needles of the double row needles. The element attaching section (EA) of such a tape for a sliding fastener is knitted with a plurality of sets of double tricot knitted textures (2 to 5), which are alternately lapped between the double row needles, and certain knitted textures (6 to 9) of the tape main body section (TB), in a manner to surround the periphery of a core material (1) with the core material (1) as the center. In this case, the needle loops of the certain knitted textures (6 to 9) of the tape main body section (2) are superposed with certain needle loops of the double tricot knitted texture (2 to 5), and the unevenness for the front and the rear across the tape surface of the element attaching section (EA) is made approximately uniform. Thus, flexibility and the attaching strength for the element (E) are ensured. At the same time, the elements can be uniformly attached. |
