PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new oligonucleotide sugar conjugate in which a sugar is selectively substituted for arbitrary position and which has a clear structure. SOLUTION: This oligonucleotide sugar conjugate in an oligonucleotide characterized by containing a sugar-bound uridine which comprises a sugar, a spacer comprising an alkane, ether, ester or amide bound to the sugar through the oxygen atom of the anomeric hydroxyl group of the sugar, an alkyne bound to the spacer, and the uridine bound to the alkyne through the 5-position of the pyrimidine ring of the uridine. The oligonucleotide sugar conjugate has a clear structure, and the sugar-introduced position can strictly be controlled.
