PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet coating apparatus capable of always uniformly coating a sheet with a coating liquid of an amount to be applied on the sheet by controlling the amount to prevent coating with the liquid of an excess amount. SOLUTION: The sheet coating apparatus comprises a storage tank for containing the coating liquid having coating particles charged with an electric charge and dispersed therein, a developing roller provided to rotate by dipping in the liquid, a voltage supply source for applying a voltage to the roller, a coating roller provided to rotate while maintaining a predetermined developing gap from the developing roller remaining partly dipped in the liquid, and a press bonding roller for press bonding the sheet closely contacted with the coating roller and passed therebetween while being rotated to the coating roller side. In this case, a surface of the coating roller is coated with the particles via the gap, and then the sheet is coated with the particles.
