PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data electronizing apparatus for a dentition defective state suitable for electronizing the dentition defective state. SOLUTION: This dentition defectiveness information encoding apparatus 1 is provided with a defectiveness information input part 12 for inputting defectiveness information on whether dentition is defective or not, a defective information binarizing part 14 for generating binarized defectiveness information expressing the defectiveness information by a binary notation, a defectiveness information encoding part 16 for collecting the binary defectiveness information only for a designated number of teeth (four teeth), and 24=16-coding the same to generate defectiveness information code, and a dentition defectiveness information encoding part 18 for generating a dentition defectiveness information code by connecting defectiveness information codes in a designated order. The procedure of encoding dentition defectiveness information is constant regardless of the number of missing teeth, so that universal encoding can be performed to be suitable for electronizing the dentition defective state.
