PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation pot in which the condensation of water can be reduced in the upper part of the inner periphery of the pot and the excessive water of rice is prevented. SOLUTION: A cord heater 15 is provided so as to come near to or come into contact with the upper part of the outer periphery of a pan 11, The upper part of the pan 11 is heated by the cord heater 15. The upper part of the inner periphery of the pan 11 which is apt to have the lowest temperature and water condensation in the side surface of the pan 11 is heated. Thus, the condensation of water can be reduced in the upper part in the inner periphery of the pan 11. Further, a phenomenon that water generated due to the condensation flows on the inner surface of the pan 11 to fall on rice and produce excessive water so that the taste of the rice is deteriorated can be suppressed.
