PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a seat in a vehicle is provided to keep internal temperature properly, and to improve convenience by switching heating or cooling automatically according to internal temperature and external temperature with forming a passage in the seat. CONSTITUTION: Heating cables are arranged in a cushion(11) of a seat(10) and a backrest(12) at regular intervals, and an air duct is installed in the seat to circulate air by an air inflow unit. Plural vent holes are formed in the air duct to circulate cool air in the surface of the seat, and a thin sheet flap is mounted in the pipe of the air duct. The air duct is made of soft resin to improve comfortableness, and a blower motor is installed in the front of a connecting duct. Internal temperature and external temperature are calculated in switching a mode selection switch into an automatic mode, and cooling or heating is performed automatically with controlling the heating cables and the blower motor by comparing internal or external temperature with the reference value. Comfortableness is improved with keeping internal temperature properly with adjusting the air conditioner automatically according to internal temperature and external temperature.
