PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-grid distance measuring tool for measuring the dimension between measuring grids without moving close by to the grids. SOLUTION: A first flat plate 20 and a second flat plate 22 being brought into contact with the grids are provided separately on the end side of a rod 12 movable into a space between the grids of an electric dust collector. A spring for spreading between the flat plates and a wire rope 34 set in tension to the flat plates in the vertical direction are provided between the flat plates, and one end of the wire rope 34 is connected to the second flat plate 22. Also the other end of the wore rope is extended to the rear end side of the rod 12 through a first pulley 32 provided on the first flat plate 20, and the interval measurement between the grids is carried out with a digital display section 44 linked with the delivery of the wire rope 34.
