PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation method of a polyester molding capable of economically preparing a polyester molding, reducing an energy cost upon its preparation and obtaining the polyester molding having excellent transparency, and further improving mold stain upon the preparation. SOLUTION: The preparation method of a polyester molding comprises (a) a preparation step of a low polymer esterifying or ester interchanging an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or its functional derivative and glycol or its functional derivative, (b) a polycondensation step polycondensing the low polymer obtained in the step (a), (c) a water treatment step contact treating the polyester obtained in the step (b) with water, and (d) a molding step melt molding the treated polyester in the step (c).
