PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stainless steel sheet used for a ceiling plate of a stainless drainboard which is excellent in design, hard to rust, good at gloss, contamination resistance, contamination removal and is hardly damaged against use in contact with a tableware, a pot/pan, a seasoning container and a grinding material. SOLUTION: Plural projecting parts are formed by conducting embossing on a surface of a stainless steel sheet, a relative-specular glossiness of the stainless steel sheet is 50-400 at a 60 degree gloss value, a number of the projecting parts is 5-180 pieces per 100 mm2.
