PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual shredder miniaturized to a size small enough to be carried in a pocket, to be operated easily by a single hand, either by right of left hand, in the same manner, and suitable for use by children with a playing sense. SOLUTION: Two separate covers 1A, 1B are fitted to each other to give a case 1 in a size portable by a single hand. An insertion inlet is formed in one cover and a discharge outlet is formed in the other cover. A pair of cutters 3A, 3B are built in the case 1 to finely cut paper sheets inserted through the insertion inlet. A single rotation knob 9 to simultaneously rotate these cutters is partially projected out of the two covers 1A, 1B.
