PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when the air discharged from the exhaust hole of a fan motor expands at a blast in a cleaner, the turbulence or the reflux of the air is likely to be caused, preventing the air flow and sufficient amount of the air cannot reach the floor nozzle, resulting in the inefficiency in removing the dust. SOLUTION: In the vacuum cleaner body 1 there is provided an exhaust passage A11 which is tightly fixed to and communicates with the exhaust hole 10 on the fan motor 4. The exhaust passage All is provided leading to the front section of the vacuum cleaner body 1, making the exhaust air flow smooth, securing sufficient amount of air which returns to the floor nozzle and preventing the degradation of the performance of dust removing.
