PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the height of degasification tower of a degasifier without reducing degasification efficiency. SOLUTION: This degasifier is provided with: a transfer means 15 for introducing a liquid to be treated (a) into the degasifier and transferring the liquid (a) to the downstream side; an ejector 16 which is placed downstream from the transfer means 15 and is used for receiving the above transferred liquid to be treated (a), delivering the received liquid (a) from a nozzle and blowing a degassing gas (b) for removing gases dissolved in the above delivered liquid (a), into the delivered liquid (a) to obtain a liquid to be treated (c); a spray means 13 for spraying the liquid to be treated (c); and a degassing gas blow means 8 for blowing the degassing gas (b) into the above sprayed liquid to be treated (c) in the opposite direction to the spray direction.
