PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the longevity of a pipe and to restrain the clogging of chips. SOLUTION: A chip storage body 17 is arranged on an outer peripheral surface of a front milling cutter 10, and a discharge port 20 of chips is provided in its peripheral surface. The chips are recovered in a recovery container by connecting a plastic pipe 22 to the discharge port 20. A connecting part 25 of a first pipe 23 of the pipe 22 and a second pipe 24 orthogonal with it is provided at a position separated to the supply side by a distance L of 2d-5d from the other end opening 23a of the first pipe. The other end opening 23a is closed with a cover body 27 free to open and close.
