PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer, a server and an information processor exhibiting excellent convenience in which a printer containing a desired special sheet can be selected surely. SOLUTION: The type information of a sheet for special use is preset by a composite unit 1 connected through a network and a client PC 301 connected through a network inquires that composite unit 1 for the type information of a sheet set therein and then the type information of a sheet informed from that composite unit 1 is displayed at the client PC 301.
