<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a recycled polystyrene-based resin foam, capable of continuously producing an inexpensive recycled polystyrene- based resin foam molding having excellent fusibility between ground pieces each other and not causing a great number of voids in a molding even in the case of ground pieces containing large ground pieces of indeterminate form obtained from foam in reuse of a polystyrene-based resin foam molding which was used and or defectively produced and to obtain the recycled polystyrene- based resin foam having excellent fusibility between ground pieces each other, not making a great number of voids existing in the molding. SOLUTION: This method of producing the recycled polystyrene-based resin foam molding is characterized in that a polystyrene-based resin foam molding is ground to give a mass of ground pieces, which is fed to a ground piece supply zone equipped with a route successively provided with the ground piece supply zone, a heating zone and a cooling zone and with a belt endlessly traveling on an upper part and a lower part in the route, heated in a compressed state by supplying steam in the heating zone and passed through the cooling zone so as to continuously produce the polystyrene-based resin foam molding.</p> |
