PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove floating refuse in a bath cleaning apparatus by solving such a problem that refuse floating on the surface bath water is difficult to be removed because a circulating water intake part is provided to the lower part of a bathtub. SOLUTION: This bath cleaning apparatus is provided with a water circulating means for generating a vortex in the surface of the water in the bathtub to successively suck water of a water surface part and guiding the sucked water to a filter 9 to filter the same and again discharging filtered water to the bathtub. Therefore, the contaminants on the surface of bathtub water are sucked by the vortex flow generated in the surface of the water in the bathtub and the sucked water is filtered with the filter 9 to clean bathtub water. Further, by discharging the filtered bath water in the bathtub, a circulating flow is formed in the bathtub to develop an effect such that the contaminant on the surface of bathtub water moves smoothly to become easy to such and the filtering speed of the contaminant is increased.
