PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vinyl chloride-based resin composition capable of utilizing a slag which has been regarded as an industrial waste as a filler for the vinyl chloride-based resin and effectively utilizing the resultant composition as a covering material for electric wires. SOLUTION: This vinyl chloride-based resin composition for usually covering electric wires is obtained by adding 10-80 pts.wt. of the slag, 1-10 pts.wt. of a stabilizer and 40-80 pts.wt. of a plasticizer to 100 pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride resin.
