PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive outer package for packaging eased gifts wherein packaging, with a sheet of Japanese gift paper, two pieces of equivalent or nonequivalent articles of the same size and received in a box with a relatively small capacity can be stably held without need of tying ceremonial paper strings or the like while reducing risks of wasting a paper resource, increasing various costs, polluting environments or the like. SOLUTION: A single piece of wrapping sheet member which comprises a laminate of paper of a Japanese style, is thin, and includes assembly shape retention strength with patterns of ceremonial paper strings (4) or the like printed in colors according to a purpose of a gift on a surface is provided so that two pieces of gifts (P) received in a box with a capacity of approximately 1000 cm3 less and a height of approximately 5 cm or less can be wrapped in a state that they are stacked or placed side by side. The sheet member is used to form a plane outer packaging part (1), side outer packaging parts (2) and base outer packaging parts (3) via creases (b), and in addition box end face contact parts (5) are formed at end rims of the side outer packaging parts (2) and the base outer packaging parts (3) to provide the outer package for packaging cased gifts.
