PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring method for hookah diving work and a device therefor capable of preventing an accident at diving work by giving a warning to an external part in an air unflowing state of stopping respiration for some cause and a continuously air flowing state of leaking a large quantity of air by always monitoring a respiratory situation of a diver at diving work. SOLUTION: A state of not detecting a flow of air flowing between an air sending tank side air inflow hose and a respiratory mask side air outflow hose of the diver for a specific time or more and a continuously flowing state are detected to give the warning to the external part.
