PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid cosmetic excellent in its removal, freshness, light spread and extension and an excellent feeling of moisture retention after application and excellent in stability with time, being utilized by using water. SOLUTION: This solid cosmetic comprises 5-95 mass % of a sugar alcohol as a component (a) and 1-90 mass % of powder as a component (b) and is utilized by using water. The solid cosmetic comprises water as a component (c) and has the mass ratio of the component (a)/the component (c) of >=4. This is a makeup cosmetics.
