PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic jacket for a artificial joint stem not using cement capable of reducing shearing stress harmful to the life of the artificial joint and restraining a gap formed between the bone and the stem to minimize dissolution of bone due to penetration of abrasion particles by fixing the jacket in a bone cavity so the stem of the artificial joint can be slid to the bone and be applied to cover the surface of the stem. SOLUTION: This plastic jacket for the artificial joint stem not using cement is formed of plastic to cover at least a part of the artificial joint stem 31 not using cement, which is longitudinally inserted in a hole formed in the bone cavity of the human body, and provided with a porous or rough surface so that a bone 41 internally grows in the porous plastic jacket to engage with the plastic jacket.
