PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container sealing structure which ensure hermetical sealing between a container mouth and a cap member to be fitted onto the container mouth within a range of displacement of the cap allowed by a tamper-evident band without requiring an extensive displacement in turning for the cap on opening and closing the cap. SOLUTION: The container sealing structure for a container mouth and a cap member to be fitted onto the container mouth is a combination of a dented groove formed either at the outer circumferential surface of the container mouth or the inner circumferential surface of the cap and an independent protuberance provided either at the inner circumferential surface of the cap or the outer circumferential surface of the container mouth to be guided for fitting into the dented groove, or in a form comprising an independent protuberance to be guided for engagement and a protuberant stripe, and the aforementioned guidance is formed being in parallel with the external end face of the container mouth at a position close to the closing end of the cap so that the sealing pressure is not changed by a slight displacement at the position close to the closing end while being formed in a sharp gradient at a part succeeding to the paralleled part so that the cap can be opened and closed with a less amount of displacement in turning. |
