PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath-taking assisting apparatus with a transfer function and a bathtub in which a person to be cared in a chair can be transferred or moved from a bed in a stable condition, and the bath-taking assistance is possible by hold the thighs and the back of the person to be cared. SOLUTION: In the bath-taking apparatus comprising a lower frame which is provided with front wheels and rear wheels in a traveling manner and has a substantially U-shaped open rear portion, a stay erected on the lower frame, a slidable frame to be externally fitted to the stay, an arm formed in a crank shape, a seat portion to be pivotably supported by a rear portion of the arm, a seat to hold the back or the waist of the person to be cared, and a hook to hook the seat, the slidable frame is provided in a vertically elevating/lowering manner by an elevating/lowering mechanism, the arm is turnably fitted via a bearing located on the extension line of the thigh of the cared person from the outer upper position to the inner lower position, i.e., to the position at which the seat portion holds a lower portion of the thigh of the person to be cared around the thigh of the person to be cared, and the arm, the seat portion and the hook are vertically turnable by a turning mechanism. |
