PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the continuous operation of a waste ozone treatment apparatus under an ordinary temperation wet condition, to prevent the generation of harmful gas while eliminating the necessity for treating a waste liquid and the fear of ignition or explosion and to reduce initial cost or running cost. SOLUTION: The waste ozone treatment apparatus includes a reaction cylinder 1 and a large number of rod-shaped permanent magnets 211, or the like. The reaction cylinder 1 comprises a non-magnetic material and a large number of the rod-shaped permanent magnets 211, or the like, are arranged on the outer or inner peripheral surface of the reaction cylinder 1 in parallel to the center axial line of the reaction cylinder. The magnetizing direction of the rod-shaped permanent magnets 211, or the like, is set in a direction right-angled or parallel to the center axial line of the reaction cylinder. The waste ozone flowing through the reaction cylinder 1 is forcibly decomposed by the interaction with the magnetic fields of the rod-shaped permanent magnets 211, or the like. |
