PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub which can adjust the water level for half or whole bathing and enables the elderly and the disabled people to bathe while seated. SOLUTION: The bathtub A comprises a bathtub body 1, an elevating member 2 installed on a side wall 11 to the side of a wash place 3 of the bathtub body 1 and an elevating device 4 to freely move up and down the elevating member 2. The elevating member 2 is made of a member on which a user can be seated, the upper part of the elevating member 2 is water-tightly projected from the upper end of the side wall 11 and the lower part of the elevating member 2 in the side wall 11 is connected to the elevating device 4. |
