PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a mechanism and improve moving efficiency by positioning and holding plural kinds of parts by holding claws of a robot hand in an assembly robot. SOLUTION: In this assembly robot assembling a workpiece by holding parts having various shapes, the shapes of parts 31, 32 are utilized, the holding claws 6, 7 of the robot hand 1 have a plurality of holding parts 8, 9, and each part 31, 32 having different shapes is held by positioning the parts at predetermined attitudes by different holding parts 8, 9 of common holding claws 6, 7 for assembly.
