PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green onion-peeling machine that can blow air all over the leaves of green onions in a sufficient amount of the air for effectively blowing off the unneeded leaves. SOLUTION: The onion peeler is equipped with the leaves-conveying endless belts 3A, 3B for conveying the leave parts of the onions, a vertical pair of the root parts-conveying endless belts 6A, 6B that are arranged to the edge on one side of the leaves-conveying endless belts and convey the root parts, as they press the root part of the onions, two rows of round belts 8A, 8B that are arranged at the space 7 on the leaves part side of a vertical pair of the root part-conveying endless belts upward at an angle in the downstream direction, the unneeded leaves-blowing air outlet 9 that is set at the almost middle position in the root part-conveying endless belts on the lower side in the direction toward the two rows of round belts, the guide plate 10 that is arranged on the front side of the injection air outlet for blowing off the unneeded leaves and can guide the air toward the leaf part and a plurality of nozzles 5 that are vertically arranged at the space on the stem side of the leaves-conveying endless belt and injects the compressed liquid toward the root parts of the onions.
