PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sieve case structure designed to more effectively improving the sorting efficiency or accuracy through making a simple improvement on a counterweight. SOLUTION: This sieve case structure has such a scheme that, an aperture- controllable chaff sieve 17 is furnished with an aperture control spring 31 functioning to elastically urging the group of chaff lip plates 17A toward closing- side so as to change the aperture of the chaff sieve 17 according to the weight of a to-be-treated object thereon, the chaff lip plates 17A are furnished with a counterweight 35 functioning to hinder the own weight swing of the chaff lip plates 17A accompanying the swing of a sieve case 6, the counterweight 35 is designed so as to align nearly in a straight line the respective junctions P5 to the chaff lip plates 17A, support P4 and center of gravity P6 thereof, and the resultant straight line L is set to be in an inclined posture nearly along the swing locus K of a support arm 5 swingably supporting the front portion of the sieve case 6 when the aperture of the chaff sieve 17 is large.
