PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an easy and safe deformation from a backpack to a handbag, or from the handbag to the backpack. SOLUTION: One end of a shoulder strap is fixed to the back contact surface of the backpack main body, and the other end of the shoulder strap is fixed to the vicinity of the bottom section of the backpack main body. The shoulder straps are constituted in such a manner that they are selectively located on the back contact surface side or the front surface side of the backpack main body. When the shoulder straps are located on the back contact surface side of the backpack main body, this handbag-cum-backpack functions as a backpack, and when the shoulder straps are located on the front surface side of the backpack main body, the handbag-cum-backpack functions as a handbag.
