PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a laminated film with high productivity and, in addition, with ease which has excellent gas barrier properties without generating harmful gases upon combustion and is suitable for food packaging materials and the like. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a laminated film comprises subjecting an aliphatic vinyl ester polymer and a thermoplastic resin different therefrom to co-extrusion to form a film having an aliphatic vinyl ester polymer layer on at least one side, then saponifying the aliphatic vinyl ester layer, washing, then drying and hot stretching the resulting film.
