PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a heat shield sound insulation plate reduced in its weight to improve a fuel consumption while improving a heat shield and sound insulation performance at a periphery of an automotive engine. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the heat shield sound insulation plate comprises the steps of disposing a phenol resin having excellent heat insulation at a central core, and disposing a mirror surface aluminum plate at a heat source side and an aluminum nonwoven fabric at its opposite side to complicate to them to a three-layer structure.
